Why is the Spider-Man movie franchise getting a reboot? How come Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire don't want?

Seriously, I am so dissapointed and frustrated now because of this, that the 4th Spider-Man film will have no connections to the past 3 Spider-Man films, and I heard that the 4th Spider-Man film is gonna go back to the beginning, in which Spider-Man’s alter-ego is in High School, C’MON!!!!!, the first Spider-Man film from 2002 already showed his origin story, it’s not like we need a reboot in a way that the Batman film series was rebooted, because the Batman film from 1989 with Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton, that movie did not show the complete origin story of how Batman came to be, so Batman Begins was more deserving. Anyway, but the 2002 Spider-Man film already showed the origin story of how Peter Parker became Spider-Man, seriously, is Sam Raimi out of his freakin’ mind!?!?! I hate how people say that Spider-Man 3 was horrible and compared to 1997’s Batman and Robin, because Batman and Robin flopped, bombed at the Box-Office, meanwhile, Spider-Man 3 was the highest-grossing movie of 2007. So seriously, there is no need for a reboot. Overall, why? Why Sony, Why?

See when Spider-man 4 was getting decided, Raimi wanted to do the Vulture however Sony pictures and whoever was collabed with the movie, they thought that Vulture wasn’t a marketable and recognizable character, thus debating on who should be the next villain. Fun fact: Raimi wanted to do this on Spider-man 1, but the studio wanted to go in first with Green Goblin.

That’s when they said, enough! Raimi, Maguire, Dunst and all of them were fired as Sony pictures decided to reboot the film trilogy to go out to a new audience. As the link provided will say, remember when you saw Spidey 1? You were probably a kid and is now in high school or have a job and is in the adult world.

This is clearly a sign of Moviepocolypse and shows that original ideas are now dead. Hollywood wants to group in more kids like an Easter-bunny dressed, broken down van, pedophile with their Spider-man reboot.

How to improve your mile run time? PE junior high?
please read the whole thing! thankss.

i just ran the mile for the first time today (at school for PE class) and they time us. we do it once a week. i expected to get around 8-9 minutes, but i didn’t know, cause i’ve never ran the mile before while being timed. I GOT 10:40 and i am NOT proud of that!
i am not out of shape, not overweight, BMI is normal.
BUT i do have asthma, so this effects my mile time.
how can i improve my mile time. i really really REALLY want to get it under 9 minutes. how can i improve my mile? tips on practicing (like a regular running routine)? also, if i wanted to practice, i can’t practice outside, on a trail, at the park, cause it’s really rainy where i live, and i don’t get out that much. but i do have a treadmill.
also tips for when i’m actually out running the mile at school next week? how to go fast but not burn out on the first lap? (we have to go 4 times around the track to make a mile) i tried jogging slowly the first lap, but i’m always inevitably burned out by the second lap. help with pacing?
what is a good way to pace myself, lap-by-lap?
any other ideas you have that can help me get my mile run under 9 minutes will be GREATLY appreciated! thank you so much!

oh and if it helps i’m a 13 year old girl.
no one will come running with me and i’m not allowed to go running alone. it’s not just the rain. i have to use the treadmill.

Im a 15 year old boy and i also have asthma. My mile time is under 5:30. To train for this type of distance, I would Work out 6 days a week for about 30-40 minutes following this pattern: one day of sprint work (100-200 meters, fast speed, lots of repetition) then one day of distance work (2-3 miles, moderate speed). This is how I get better at my distance runs. Also, eat lots of protein to feed your muscles and rest 1 day a week, like sunday, to let them catch up. As for pacing, I always go hard on the first lap. ON the second and third lap, I do get tired, so i push harder to keep near my original pace. On the last lap my second wind kicks in and i just sprint. A good way to distract yourself from the pain is to set goals like "I’m gonna catch that person" then when you do, try to catch the person ahead. Also, think of something you like, like the lyrics of your favorite song.

Two acoustic guitar questions,need help?
So first question,how can I mute while playing? Like on this song you have to strum,strum the muted strings,then strum again,but I have to keep my hand on the notes

you can palm mute the strings, where you lay your palm right next to the bridge, look on youtube for instructions. and for the second one, try moving your finger closer to the fret. the buzzing is caused when the string is only partly touching the fret

1: when you’re playing the guitar and you have to mute a string, you have to lightly touch the string so that when you strum/pick it, you won’t hear a sound. you can do this by using a finger that’s not holding a string down to touch a string that should be muted, or use a finger that’s holding a string down to mute a string next to it by sliding the finger/string up or down (parallel to the frets) to touch the string next to it and mute it.
2: when you hear a buzzing, there are a few things that could be happening. one thing is that your finger isn’t pressing on the string hard enough for the string to vibrate and not hit a fret. another thing is that you’re strumming too hard that the string is vibrating and hitting another fret.

while playing a song where you need to mute, you can either lift up the fingers that are on the frets so they mute the strings, or use the palm of your right hand to mute
you’re probably getting the buzzing sound because your placing your finger too far back on the fret. you want to get really close to the bar but not on top of it (it needs to still resonate)
another reason for the buzzing could be something to do with the actual fretboard or body of the guitar. if that is the case, then you should probably take it to a music store and have them take a look at it. they can tell you if something needs to be fixed

Well for your first question the most popular method of muting is to put the right side of your hand/palm against the strings and continue to strum, once you want to play normally just release your hand from the strings. also another alternative way that only works some of the time, is once you want to mute use the fingers on your left hand to loosed up on the strings so they are not pressed down, but so that they are still resting on the strings so they dont play. and then once you want to play again just press down.

To answers your second question the buzzing sound is called "fret buzz". Part of this could be that you are not pressing hard enough on the strings but most of the time it is just natural that most/all acoustic guitars make this noise and it is something you will have to do this. If you have an advanced enough guitar you can lessen this buzz by loosening the "action" on you guitar. This usually has to be professionaly done unless you know somebody who REALLY knows what they’re doing. by loosening the action you are lifting the strings farther away from the fretboard lessening the chance that when vibrating the strings strike the fretboard and create the buzz. By doing this you also make the guitar harder on your fingers so beware.

my underweight dog still has not gained weight?
we had for for a little over then a month now
she was heartwormed tested and is negative
the vet suggested to give her high protein food because she is an active breed so we have been doing that and have been feeding her extra,3 times a day instead of 2 times (the food is solid gold barking at the moon)
but she has not gained much weight,the first 2 weeks she gained some weight,but is still very skinny,we can see her hip boned,ribs and can feel her spine
but she is prefectly healthy,but her weight is still really low ,she is a lab/springer spaniel(or pointer,not sure) and weighs 34 lbs and a few ounces,when we got her she weighed 29 lbs,but we can still see all her bones just not as bad

any food suggestions or help is great.thanks!

It sounds like you’re on the right track. An active dog will take time to gain weight. I have a springer spaniel who is very thin. He just never stops running. I feed him about twice the recommended amount of very high quality dog food. He’s happy, so I’m happy too.

You are feeding a very good food. Did the vet do a thyroid test?

If she is healthy, continue feeding 3 times a day and give it more time. It takes about the same amount of time to put weight on a dog as it does to take it off.

So we are talking about a couple of months in the least.

Patience. If she is destined to gain weight she will. Some dogs are just lean. Greyhounds are a good example.

Since she is a mix, who knows what else is in her genetic makeup?

dog trainer 30 plus years -
Love…try putting her on puppy food. It has more calorie and will help her to put on the weight. I would also get her some treats and give with her working for them with a sit or a lay…something that does not take a lot of energy. Boxers have the same problem because they are such high energy dogs. Even when I had them on puppy food at 2 years you could see their ribs a bit…but I kept food out 24/7 and things got much better. I also had to encourage them to have "time outs" every now and again…laying around getting belly rubs & slow play. I taught them to lay down with their head upright. I would roll a ball between their two front paws and taught them to roll the ball back to me with their nose. It’s still a play time…but low on calorie burning. They loved it when small children would come and the kids loved it as well. I wish you luck love.

Vets usually have very little education on feeds. They usually know what the dog food reps. tell them. Vets are great at their profession but often clueless on specific breeds or dog food issues!
Be careful at feeding high protein foods…breeds prone to kidney problems and breeds like Great Danes can have trouble processing high levels of proteins.
You would likely be better off with a high fat content food…BUT I am not familiar with the brand you are feeding…it may be just fine.
Google "Satin Balls". Put your pup on satin balls for a few weeks and I guarantee he will gain weight! I add Peanut butter to my Satin Ball recipe for taste and extra calories.

Have you ever wished you could return to your childhood for just a day?
I remember when I used to go over my grandma Louise’s house and my uncle would play PC games with me. We would play Total Annihilation (with The Core Contingency and Battle Tactics), Carnivores, Total Annihilation: Kingdoms, Planet Hot Wheels, Civilization II (with Conflicts in Civilization and Fantastic Worlds), Descent (with Levels of the World), Descent II (with Vertigo Series), Descent FreeSpace: The Great War, RuneScape (we only played this a few times), Star Wars: X-Wing versus TIE Fighter, and various other games. We would also watch movies in his basement, I remember when we used to watch the first Alien movie. I was like 8-12 when we used to do this stuff. I remember when we went to a baseball game that was sponsored by his work and there was like this festival thing before the baseball game that was for employees (and friends and family) of his work only, I had so much fun. We used to do all this awesome stuff together and I looked up to him as a role model, and I used to spend the night at grandma’s house like every other weekend. He even got me into a community college at the age of 13, where I still attend schooling at (separate from the two high schools and one junior high school that I currently attend; what can I say, I guess I’m a prodigy). He also taught me how to SCUBA dive (he is a professor at the college and one of the classes he teaches is SCUBA). He also took me to World War II reenactments, where I got to dress up as a n American (or was I British, I forgot) soldier and got to use a real gun (blank adapted). He also taught me how to fire a real gun. But now my uncle and like never do anything. I’m 17 now and we haven’t really hung out like we used to (which is explanatory since I’m a teenager and have been for several years so now I’m more interested in girls, hanging out with friends, the SS Free, Facebook, computers, and video games, than spending time with family members). But I kind of miss doing all that fun stuff with my uncle, now I have torn him away from me too, just like I have torn everyone else who cares about me away. I tore my parents away (we never talk unless we are arguing or yelling at each other), I don’t want to do anything with them (obviously), I don’t even want to be seen with them in public (what teenager does). The only people I had were my friends, but even then I partially blew that when I fell in love with my best friend and she didn’t love me back, which I am still recovering from). Do you ever wish you could just go back to the simple times of your childhood, just for like a day?
