How many influences does Star Wars have?
So far I’ve got these:
James Earle Jones, Christopher Lee, and Peter Cushing were British horror actors of the 60’s. Darth Vader rising in SW3 is like Frankenstein, plus he wears a cape, like Dracula. The arms getting cut off device is remniscent of Samurai movies. The intros, planets, and wipe transitions are from Flash Gordon. Yoda and Obi-
Wan dissapear when they die, like the Wicked Witch, and C-3PO and Chewbacca are remniscent of the tin woodsman and the cowardly lion. Luke and Obi-Wan are the classic old mentor- young learner. The Force is fantasy. The technology is sci- fi. Stormtrooper is a Nazi term. The hood that Sidious wears is reflective of many visions of the grim reaper. The walkers are inspired by The War of the Worlds. It has the story of Caesar (starts out as a democracy, becomes an empire, rebels turn it into a democracy again). The Phantom Menace was inspired by a Flash Gordon episode title.

Should i move on or give it time?
Im in love with a beautiful girl but i never showed her and i lied to her about smokin weed and would always let everything that bottled up inside me but as soon a she would make me mad i would raise my voice and take out everything on her and the last time i asked her if i made her happy and she said sometimes and i actually said the dumbest thing i could have said i told her she would be better off with someone else and the next day we broke up but i told her that i was just mad and didnt mean it and she said i needed to work on my anger and i did but i tried to hard and hoped tht she would take me back in a week or so when nothing had really changed and when i would ask her about us she would say we could only be friends and though that is more than enough now at the time i wasnt ready to hear that i would refuse just friendship but now we dont really talk and i would be more than happy as just a friend to try to make something out of us again but i dont know if she will ever have any feelings for me again in that way she has told me to give her time to forgive her and im doing my best but it hurts not talkin to her i love her and want her back but should i try to move on or would that make it worse

O wow. If a guy did that to me, I would be really hurt. And I would be scared to get back in a relationship with you. So she probably doesn’t wanna get hurt by you again, because she probably thinks you wont change you’re ways. You should give it time and then try talking to her agian. But, while you’re giving it time you should get out and hang out with other girls. That way you might get over it.

I think the best thing to do after a break up is to get yourself together first so that means really getting over your anger problem and completley stop smokin weed. After a little more time, show her you have changed and if she still refuses you really need to move on now cause you will only hurt yourself, annoy her, and well you have no other optin. Dont worry, with your new changes you will have more success in the next relationship.

What's a really good pen name?
I need a really good, extremely catchy, original, awesome, yet simple pen name.

Without a pen name, I will soon be a worldwide famous author on the New York Times Bestselling list.

Yes, I want that. It’s my dream. It’s my goal.

But I love my life as it is. And I don’t want a whole lot of attention drawn to me, if any. I want attention drawn to my books. It should be about the writing, not the author.

And this world is nosy enough anyways. If I don’t have a pen name, my life will become so much less private. Public, even. And I don’t want that. And I don’t want to bring that onto my family if they don’t want that. I just want to be a highly successful normal person. But no one will know that I’m actually a world famous author…. I guess to all the people who think ****** (my real name) will grow up to be a famous author, will consider me a failure. But I will know that I am not, and that is the important thing to me.

I am a female, and I want a male pen name. J.K. Rowling did not write Joanne Kathleen Rowling on her Harry Potter books because her editor told her that more people (more guys, really) would read her books if they thought it was written by a guy not a girl, since female authors have a reputation for writing dinky gushy, romantic novels.

No one will know except for my immediate family (mom, dad, siblings) and my editors, etc.

I will never attend press conferences, never have a book signing, never show up (except for stuff like facebook picture) when someone googles my real name.

I will be like Lemony Snicket, the author of the Series of Unfortunate Events.

Now all I need is the name.
