Ouch my gauges are bleeding and swollen?
Two night ago i switched from a 2g to a 0g i havent skiped any sizes in my gauging but this one was the most painfull it hurt when i put it in but went in without much struggle, it swelled fast and hurt the next day it was swollen. today i noticed blood and liquid coming out of the hole although it dosnt hurt much anymore and is easy for me to twist around a little bit it is still very swollen.what do you guys recommend to help with the swelling again at the moment the pain is minimal
That is very normal. When went from a 2g to a 0g it hurt like hell and there was blood and pus. But it goes away after 3-4 days. Just take a solution called H2ocen and spray it on or clean around it with a q-tip dipped in peroxide.

Downsize and do sea salt soaks and wait a few weeks to try to stretch again. Sometimes people have reactions to a particular stretch and it takes awhile for it to swell and get annoyed or you didn’t wait long enough for your ear to heal from the last stretch. How long did you wait from stretch to 2 and stretching to 0? You should be waiting atleast two months. This is often the stretch people have the most problem with, you may just have to wait longer.
Edit: Blood and puss are NOT normal. There should never be blood from stretching if you are doing it properly. The most pain you should feel is stinging. If you are bleeding that means you forced it in and you did not wait for your ear to be ready for it on its own. Bleeding means you are going to be building up scar tissue and will make it harder for you to stretch in the future.

you probably just need to rub the edges with neosporin or any antibiotic ointment and ice will surely help and rinse them with cool water or that ear piercing solution. It will be fine don’t worry unless it gets worse and painful.
